Yes — two Type 2 charging points at 7.4 kW. Parking is free for guests and renters.

Our kiosk and cafeteria sell coffee, tea, snacks and ice cream, plus gas, maps, dried food and mosquito spray. We do not serve meals. The nearest grocery store is in Drevsjø, about 12 km away.

By card — Visa, Mastercard and most other major cards. We do not accept cash.

Yes, dogs are very welcome — at the wilderness camp, on canoe trips, and in our cabins and glamping tents. Dogs must be kept on a leash from 1 April to 20 August.

Large aluminium “Canadian” canoes with a total capacity of up to 400 kg, in 2-person and 3-person versions — both the same size, so three adults and their luggage normally fit with careful packing.

No experience is needed for a canoe — we give you a safety briefing and paddling instruction before you head out. For packrafts we recommend some basic paddling and outdoor experience.

No. Our canoes and packrafts are for flat water and weak currents only.

Anyone aged 18 or over. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. A rental agreement is signed on pick-up, and a refundable security deposit applies.

Quick-drying layers. Avoid cotton — it stays wet and cold. Bring a waterproof jacket, shoes you do not mind soaking, and spare clothes in a watertight container.

Yes. We transport canoes, packrafts, equipment and passengers to any point within 30 minutes of camp for an additional fee.

Beds made up for two with mattresses for up to five, towels, a wood stove with firewood, a Trangia stove and campfire pan with cutlery, bowls and cups, a cool box, LED lights and a power bank, mosquito nets, and a large terrace with comfortable seating.

Shared toilets, showers and a sauna are in the main building, about a 200 metre walk from the tents. The nature cabins have their own bathroom with shower and toilet.

Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00.

One cabin is specially adapted with a wheelchair ramp, step-free access and an adapted bathroom with an accessible washbasin, support rails by the toilet and a shower stool. All cabins have a wheelchair-friendly layout, wide doors, turning space in every room and space beside the beds.

Norway’s right to roam lets you camp on uncultivated land — forest, mountain and lakeshore — as long as you keep clear of cabins and cultivated ground. Leave no trace.

Open fires are banned between 15 April and 15 September. Outside that window fires are allowed when the forest fire risk is low. Use existing fire pits — never build new ones — and never cut or collect living or dead trees for firewood.

Yes. The water in all the lakes and running water here is perfectly fine to drink. Avoid stagnant or swampy sources.

They arrive around the end of June and thin out as the summer goes on. Bring repellent — we sell it at the kiosk — and use the mosquito netting in the tents.

Almost all wildlife here is harmless. You have a good chance of seeing reindeer and may spot moose. Larger predators exist but are extremely shy. Watch for adders sunning themselves on warm stones.

Medium to good in many areas, but little to none inside Femundsmarka National Park. Higher ground improves your chance of a signal in an emergency.

Summer temperatures range from −2 °C to 25 °C. Bring clothing for everything: wind, rain and cold evenings included.

Not at the moment, apart from the moose and beaver safaris. What we do instead is sit down with you and a map on arrival and plan a route that fits your group, your ability and the week’s weather.
