Where modern comfort meets the wilderness
Brand new, built for every season, and designed so nobody gets left at the door — step-free throughout, with one cabin fully adapted.
From 2190 kr/ night
Check availabilityAbout fifty square metres, sleeping one to six. A double bed and a lounge bed in one room, a bunk with a pull-out in the other. A bright open living area with a dining table, and a kitchen that actually works — induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge.
Floor heating and a wood-burning stove keep them warm in October and in February. Outside there is a private terrace looking into the forest and down to the river, and you park directly by the door.
Accessibility: every cabin has a wheelchair-friendly layout, wide doors, turning space in every room and clearance beside the beds. One is specially adapted with a ramp, step-free entry and a bathroom with an accessible washbasin, support rails and a shower stool.

Been paddling Femundsmarka for twenty years and still book the canoe here. Aluminium boats, proper kit, and people who actually know the water.
A letter from the lake, four times a year
Ice-out dates, when the mosquitoes ease off, new routes, last-minute openings. No noise.
